Classes
For Youth and Adults
¡LEAMOS! (Basic Literacy) - Teaches basic reading and writing skills in Spanish with on-going, self-paced instruction. Designed for immigrant Latinos who did not have the opportunity to attend school as children.
Functional Skills - Teaches basic grammar, math, financial literacy, and health literacy using self-paced lessons that incorporate literacy and numeracy into everyday tasks.
English as a Second Language (with Child Care) - Teaches basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. Offered in partnership with Belmont Education and Career Center.
Vocational English as a Second Language - Builds oral fluency with work-related vocabulary. Offered in partnership with Los Angeles Southwest College.

Basic Vocational Computer Literacy - Introduces computer terminology and software applications, including typing, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics. Offered in partnership with Metropolitan Skills Center and Belmont Education and Career Center.
For Children
Academic Advancement Program - EIEP (Emergency Immigrant Education Program) provides a rich language immersion program for children born outside the U.S. who are new to the school system. In addition to daily 4-hour classes with children during their school holidays, EIEP also organizes Family Days for parents to learn about Centro Latino's adult education programs, as well as supporting their children's learning, understanding the school system, and accessing health information.
